The Revival Fellowship is a conservative Pentecostal church around the globe. We believe that the Bible is the only true gospel and it shows the way towards salvation and the way towards entering into the Kingdom of God. We also believe that the second coming of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour is imminent and people need to be prepared for this great day.
The Revival Fellowship believes that a person must be filled with God’s Holy Spirit with the biblical evidence of speaking in other tongues and also baptized in full immersion in water, for the remission of sins, in order to inherit the Kingdom of God as stated in ACT2:38, John 3:5,Mark 16:15-17,etc.
No, they are not the same. Different denomination has different beliefs, fundamental and policies they operated in. The Revival Fellowship of Fiji strongly believes in what is written in ACTS 2:38, John 3:5 and other bible scriptures that supported the infilling of the Holy Spirit and water baptism.
The only bible evidence of receiving God’s Holy Spirit is by Speaking in other tongues. This clearly stated in ACTS 2:4, ACTS 19:6, ACTS 10:46 and Jeremiah 28:11-12.
In john 3:1-5 Jesus Christ commanded Nicodemus a ruler of the Jews and a Pharisees that no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. The Holy Spirit is also a seal for those who believe in Jesus as Lord and Saviour, our helper, our comforter and rest for people who are weary, and a new covenant; Ephesians 1:13, Isaiah 28: 11, Jeremiah 30:31-34.
Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and are you coming to me?” But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness. These are also biblically supported in Mark 16:16, Romans 6:4,Acts 2:38, John 3:3-5 ,1Cor 6:11, etc.
And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples. He said unto them, have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, we have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, unto what then was ye baptized? And they said Unto John’s baptism. Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. These are also supported in Jeremiah 5:15, Zephaniah 3:9, 1Corinnithians 14:14,etc.
