Articles of Faith

  1. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the final authority in all matters of doctrine and judgement
  2. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Head of the church, the only Savior and Mediator between man and God;
  3. In the full Gospel of Christ; His pre-existence as the eternal Word, miraculous birth, sufferings, death, burial, resurrection, accession; and His imminent return to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords;
  4. In the need for all to obey the Bible directive to repent, be baptized (by full immersion in water), and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit in order to be a member of the Body of Christ, the Church;
  5. That the signs of individuals receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit is by immediately speaking in new tongues;
  6. That since the ascension, the terms to be “baptized with”, the “receiving of “being “filled with”, “the pouring out of” the Spirit, and being “born again” all relate to the same one experience that first occurred at Pentecost;
  7. In the establishment and preservation of the unity of the holy Spirit only through the maintenance of common beliefs, doctrines and practices;
  8. In the theocratic governing of the Church by Christ as the Head, and the overseeing ministry of the collective assembly of the appointed elders (the Council of Pastors);
  9. In the operation of the miraculous gifts of the holy Spirit within the Church;

 

10. That all the operations within the Church must be conducted with decency and order as prescribed in the Bible;

11. In prayer for the sick and healing provisions through Jesus Christ;

12. That sins (the works of flesh, 1 Corinthians 9,10; Galatians 5:19 – 21; Ephesians 5:3-5) in a member of the Church requires appropriate scriptural action by the Church (refer to Pastor’s Manual);

13. In the historical fulfillment of Bible prophecy as confirmation of God’s plan and purpose for the Church, the nations and the individual; and The Bible identifies the Celt-Anglo-Saxon peoples as national Israel in the latter days.
